Timmy and Kessel to US Olympic camp

June 30th, 2009

Here is the preliminary list of players that will attend the US Olympic orientation camp August 17th-19th. It would be great to see Timmy and Kess play for the gold. Notice that Komisarek will be present. Wouldn’t it be nice to see a Lucic vs. Komisarek in a gold medal game? *drool*

All Day Power Play – Charity Event

June 3rd, 2009

nch_text
Hey everyone. For the second year in a row I am going to participate in a 24 hour charity hockey event that benefits the Nashua Children’s Home. The event, “The All Day Power Play” as it is know is a 24-hour pickup hockey marathon (17 hours on the ice) consisting of 4 constantly changing teams made up of 15 players each, along with 20 goalies who rotate into the lineups throughout the event. This years event is scheduled for the weekend of August 8-9. Same format as last year: 24 hours beginning at 9AM on Saturday and ending at 9AM on Sunday. The event will be held at the Cyclones Arena in Hudson NH. If you want to participate check out the ADPP website. If you want to stop by and say hello that would be cool as well.

If you want to sponsor me and donate to the cause you can do so here – Dontate to Jim

I have visited the kids at the home and this organization does a great job. They have a nice facility and really do the best they can for these children and young adults.

Here is a pic of me getting ready for the shoot-out competition (I lost).
