The Bruins have traded Aaron Ward to (of all teams after last season) Carolina. In return the B’s get a 4th rounder and forward Patrick Eaves.

Yes. It’s definitely a salary dump. What they do with that salary space will be seen. They signed veteran blue liner Derek Morris to a one year deal.
I heard Chiarelli say on WEEI that Kessel will “definitely” be in a B’s sweater next season…
